We are terribly sad to inform you that Emanuele Pianta, head of CELCT, passed away yesterday, as a consequence of a serious car accident. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family, colleagues and friends.
For all of us the loss of Emanuele is cause of immense grief and sadness beyond words. Emanuele was a brilliant and dedicated researcher, and a man with a great passion for theatre and art. We’ll try to carry on his work, to pay tribute to Emanuele and all what he has achieved in his life.

Con profondo dispiacere vi informiamo che Emanuele Pianta, direttore di CELCT, è venuto a mancare ieri, in seguito a un grave incidente stradale. Il nostro dolore si unisce a quello della famiglia, dei colleghi e di tutti gli amici.
La perdita di Emanuele ci lascia immensamente addolorati. Emanuele era un ricercatore brillante, totalmente dedito al suo lavoro, che ha sempre coltivato una grande passione per il teatro e l’arte. Noi ci impegneremo a portare avanti il suo lavoro, per onorare la sua memoria e tutto quello che ha realizzato nella sua vita.
