ProjectsIWSLT - International Workshop on Spoken Language TranslationDESCRIPTION:IWSLT is a campaign focused on the evaluation of spoken language translation technologies. The impact of spontaneity aspects on the ASR and MT systems performance as well as the robustness of state-of-the-art MT engines towards speech recognition errors were investigated in detail.CELCT’S ROLEIn 2006, CELCT took part in the organization of the evaluation campaign by preparing the texts data for the training and test sets for the Italian to English task for C-Star partner ITC-irst.In 2007, CELCT contributed to the general organization of the campaign and was also in charge with the whole evaluation.
